PRACK message

Hi

We are using AS5400s in our voip network and an other vendors sip proxy. We have a problem about PRACK message. Our proxy sends an absurd PRACK message and calls drop. To solve this i searched for disabling PRACK message in 5400s, but i couldn't find a way yet. Is there a way that 5400s dont generate or respond Prack messages?

Hi Denis,

the PRACK problem of Cisco IOS SIP stack is widely known.

These commands should fix your issue:

conf t

voice service voip

sip

rel1xx disable

Thank you for your reply. But i can not enter rel1xx disable command ? i tried in 12.3 and 12.4 ioses. What can be the mistake?

This command should be present in every IOS since 12.2(11)T
