Problem with DTMF over SIP Trunk

Hi voice team, a configured a SIP trunk on my router Cisco.

I´m using a CUCM 8.6 SCCP Phones -> H.323 -> Voice GW -> SIP Trunk -> Provider.

I configured the option " dtmf-relay rtp-nte" on dial-peer and works with majory number, but when i try to use DTMF with specific number, the number dont collect the digit.

I wonder why only a specific number does not accept dtmf?

Hi,

If is only one number that does not work dtmf, could not be problem of your config.

Try to re-check the trunk config in your equipment.

If the problem occurs only for a specific number that you call. The problem may be in the equipment where this number answers.

Hey

In this case the best thing to do:

1- on gateway collect the following, debug ccsip messages on the gateway which is sip trunking to ITSP. 

2- Place a test call to this specific number and try to send the DTMF

3- Collect the debug output

4- Take note of calling number / called number

With this you will be able to check which is the DTMF that is being negotiated on the far end, and if it's will be necessary to have a MTP to "translate" DTMF to this specific number.

Other question for you, are doing early offer or delay offer when calling to this number?
