in the past we distributed two files via ASA/AnyConnect to our clients.
profiles1.xml and profile2.xml
Both contain the same profile Names (HostName), but different HostAddresses.
(Don't ask why)
Now we would like to change the HostNames (display name) and reduce the profiles to one file.
If we would leave profile2.xml as is, the old profile names would still be shown in AnyConnect.
So we need to delete the Server List in profile2.xml and every user needs to update this file by login into one of our two VPN clusters.
That is not ideal.
So I found out you can define multiple profile files in the ASA config.
webvpn
anyconnect profiles PROFILE1 disk0:/profile1.xml
anyconnect profiles PROFILE2 disk0:/profile2.xml
I thought I could update all profile files this way and the user only needs to login into either of our VPN clusters.
Unfortunately it seems that only the first profile file gets downloaded when the client connects.
Is that right?
Why can I define more of these commands when they do not work?
Is there another way to distribute multiple profile files or even delete the old profile file for all users?
