"crl optional" with VPN 3000 Concentator

Hi there!

I have to deal with an unstable CA so I would like to configure the VPN 3000 Concentrators to only optionally check the CRL so that clients are still able to connect if the CRL is not available. Something like the "crl optional" command in IOS.

Does anyone have a clue? Thanks a lot, regards,

Sam

Sam,

Have you tried unchecking the enforce next update box on the certificate caching tab (with caching enabled)?

This is just a guess but hopefully helpful. See the following page which may be of some help too.

Good luck

Steve

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your answer. Unchecking the next update box is on the action plan. But regarding the following page, the VPN Concentrator tries to retrieve a new CRL when next update has expired:

I wonder if it still uses the cache if the CA cannot be reached.. Can anyone confirm?
