Hi,
I would like to know how to whitelist certain URL without allowing their categories in access policy.
For an example: In my access policy under custom url category , i had allow www.wptfb.com url, but the site only can be viewed if certain categories is allowed. In my case i only wanted to view www.wptfb.com and at the same time block every categories. Please advise.Thanks.

Hi Vijayan, if the web page you're trying to whitelist includes object from other web sites you should add these web sites to custom URL filter also when some of the included web sites are blocked by predefined filters.
The page wptfb.com loads content from all these web sites also:
http://frog.wix.com/
http://premium.wix.com/
http://static.wixstatic.com/
http://frog.wix.com/plebs
http://www.wix.com/
http://static.wixstatic.com/media
http://storage.googleapis.com
http://assets.wix.com/
http://editor.wix.com/html
https://users.wix.com
http://static.parastorage.com/
So if any of the categories for these web sites is blocked with predefined URL categories you have to add the address of the web site to URL filter also.
Or you can Allow whole predefined category as you did.
Use Reporting > Web Tracking for fine tuning.

Hi,
create custom URL categories (Web Security Manager > Custom URL Categories).
Add all whitelisted websites into this custom URL category.
Include this new custom category in access Policy (Web Security Manager > Access Policies). Click on the button "Select Custrom Categories..." on the URL Filtering page for your access policy to include newly configured custom URL category. Set action to Monitor or Allow.
Custom URL category will override Action setting for the general URL category.

Hi Jerney,
Thanks for your reply. I have done that but still cant view the page fully. In order to view the site page I have to allow certain categories under Predefined URL Category Filtering. Thanks.
