How to differentiate breakout room meeting chats?

When calling in-meeting chats down via that API call, I have noticed that chats sent in breakout rooms fall under the type of "group", in contrast to "public" and "private" chats. Is this an exclusive marker for denoting just breakout room messages? Or are there other types of in-meeting chat messages that fall under the "group" type? The documentation seems to imply the latter: https://developer.webex.com/docs/api/v1/meeting-chats/list-meeting-chats. My firm has clients who are requesting a means to distinguish breakout room messages from "normal" messages, and we haven't been able to find any other message data that can be used for that purpose. Our concern here is that using "type" : "group" won't be sufficient and could lead to us mislabeling some types of group messages as breakout room messages. Thoughts?

Hello, Engineering confirmed that the type=group is not just for break out room messages, it is also returned when a message is sent to all panelists in a webinar. So, there isn't a way currently to distinguish breakout room messages, you would need to create a feature request for this. You can do so here: https://ciscocollabcustomer.ideas.aha.io/. If you go ahead and create it, please share the link. We can ask Product Management to look into it.
