Hi,
we are using Catalyst 9164 APs with Catalyst C1000 switches.
On the C1000 switches (C1000-24P-4G-L) the APs irregularly directly reserver 30W, but consume only 14-18W. We have disabled the USB interface, as well as the 6 GHZ band. Nevertheless, they directly reserve the 30 W. According to the datasheet, however, they should only consume a maximum of 25.5W with the USB interface disabled.

Sometimes this leads to the APs completely disabling their wireless interfaces. Is there any way to get around this reservation or set the APs on the WLC 9800 to get by with less?
With HPE Aruba 2530-24G PoE+ switches we have no problems at all, here the APs also only reserve what they actually consume.
Thanks in advance!
Greetings
Jan
