AP2702i degrading throughput

Hi community!

I posted about some 2702i in autonomous mode, degrading throughput after some time - see post: Autonomous Mode Failing on Aironet 2702i-z-k9 - Cisco Community

Last days I got a WLC 2504 and other 2702i access points  (in controlled - LWAPP mode) and I´m experiencing the same situation:

At beginnig of association, the clients (cellular and laptop) connects at more than 300Mbps as expected. After some hours, the same network degrades to 1Mbps or less.

If I connect and disconnect the client, the speed returns to the normal behaviour (300Mbps). Since are different equipments, i don´t expect to have hardware problem.

There´s something I can be missing?

Any hints are appreciated

Bernardo

  - Have a checkup of the WLC 2504 configuration using WirelessAnalyzer input (procedure) for AireOs controllers
and feed the output from that into Wireless Config Analyzer

What software version are you running on the 2504 ? As per https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/wireless-lan-controller-software/200046-tac-recommended-aireos.html
    you should use https://software.cisco.com/download/specialrelease/2702eede2b47a5c3bb40795bbe836af6

                      >...Last days I got a WLC 2504
Consider moving on to the new 9800 generation of controllers

I don't have any of your problems running my AP's 2702 on E domain with CT 2504 with sw 8.5.182.7 and vWLC with sw 8.10.190.0 or standalone with JF10 sw version.

2504 should be on 8.5.182.11 (link below)

Have you confirmed the client stays on 5GHz band?
Have you tuned the data rates (disable lower data rates)?
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/technotes/8-6/b_Cisco_Wireless_LAN_Controller_Configuration_Best_Practices.html#concept_C84096B4070D4377BAA73AB7B4ED05C9

HI Rich! Thanks for your hints.

I removed the lower modulations just in case, but for your reference, when the distances from the AP to clients when lowered the throughput was less than 2 meter (same room)

The IOS 8.5.182.11 downloaded was not compatible (strange is not?)

See the message:
