AVC profile not able to block Bit Torrent traffic

Problem: If we create an AVC profile in the WLC to drop the traffic for bittorrent, Kazaa2 and edonkey , the traffic still goes through in release 7.6.
 

I have a 5500 Series Wireless Controller and my main concern is how to drop an encrypted Bittorrent traffic using AVC/NBAR tool. Is that solved in release 8.0?

This is known bug in 7.6.x. https://tools.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCuq20950

It is not listed fixed in any code yet (8.0.100.0). You can test it & see, may be 8.0MR1 would have a fix, not sure yet.

Symptom:
If we create an AVC profile in the WLC to drop the traffic for bittorrent, Kazaa2 and edonkey , the traffic still goes through.

Conditions:
>> Create an AVC profile on the WLC.
>> Set the rule:
application group = File sharing
application = edonkey, kazaa2 and bittorrent
Action = drop

Workaround:

Known Affected Release:7.6.(120.0)
