(I apologize in advance for my lack of experience with Cisco products.)
So we got this brand new Access Point 1832i, trying to set it in our office network (no other Cisco equipment so far). At certain point we reset it by pressing the 'mode' button for 30 sec. Now this is what we have:
Some quick Googling told us we need to "prime" the device, so we installed the Cisco AirProvision app on a smartphone. However, as I mentioned, since the device is not seen by WiFi, it is also not seen by this app.
How do we proceed from here?
Note: Exact model = AIR-AP1832I-I-K9

1830 do not require the AIrProvisioning AP.
I suspect the AP is loaded with controller-based IOS. Have you tried to connect the AP using the console cable?

Yes - the behavior is as if it's not connected (i.e., the PC on the other side does not identify anything connected).
