Recently swapped our 3802i APs for all C9130AXI to get the WiFi 6 capability. Have noticed very poor performance overall. Only change has been with the APs, nothing else. The controller remained to be an AIR 3504 and the switch is a Catalyst 3850 UPoE. All configuration remained the same, as far as I am aware. Clients are intermittently losing internet—shows connected but without an IP (Samsung devices), SLOW speeds overall, etc.
Firmware on the 3504 controller is 8.10.185
Other than getting the newer 9800 series controller, anything important that needs to be done that may have been overlooked?
Thanks!

Clients are losing their IP addresses?
What does the AP logs say?

- As per https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/wireless-lan-controller-software/200046-tac-recommended-aireos.html ,
use and or upgrade to https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286312601/type/280926587/release/8.10.190.0
also and possibly for better alignment of the new models with the getting older aireos based controllers ,
