Autonomous IOS mode or lightweight (CAPWAP)?
If CAPWAP - what WLC model and what software version?

No stated restrictions on characters but ? is generally never allowed and it's best to use only standard ASCII characters.

-- Each morning when I wake up and look into the mirror I always say ' Why am I so brilliant ? '
When the mirror will then always repond to me with ' The only thing that exceeds your brilliance is your beauty! '

Thank you for advise.

I want to know whether the Aironet 2700 can configure below as hostname(=ap_name).

But mannual (Configuration Guide, or Command Reference ) don't describe that.

ex)

 *test*AP1234

 [test]AP1234

 <test>AP1234

             - What is the reason , what is the need for that ?
