Hi,
in our network we're utilizing an ASR9k as BNG, running 7.3.2. Due to network design, the interfaces of the router that connect to the network's core are also utilized in the Generic-interfaces-list.
This means that whenever we perform maintenance on this router the PPPoE sessions are never properly terminated since the BNG is never been able to send a PADT to all authenticated CPEs.
I know of "clear subscriber session all" to terminate sessions but this doesn't stop the CPEs from trying to immediately renegotiate a session.
Is there some kind of "maintenance mode" CLI that has the router send a PADT to all authenticated devices and stops it from listening to PADI received on access interfaces?
