ASR9k Smart Licensing Issue

I have tens of ASR9k (IOS 5.3.3) in the production with Smart Licensing enabled on all of them.

The issue is the box & Licensing Server doesn't seem to recognize that iVRF and AIP License are more or less the same with difference in sizing.

I only have about 4-6 VRF on each of them, since iVRF license is 1-8 VRF, the box keep asking for iVRF license and therefore it shows OoC on the Licensing Server even though I already have AIP license(unlimited number of VRF)

Is there any fix for the OoC issue? Or could Cisco generate non demo license to fix the issue?

Could you try to create additional Loopbacks and VRF's so that the system asks for AIP license?

Hi, smart license only count vrf on physical interface

What about sub-interface? You could create a few.

Btw. VRF licenses are honor based, so you will not have any issues on the router. Only the alarm on the Smart License Satellite is annoying.
