hi Hadi,

Current ASR9K System limits as follows:

OSPFadjacency (v2)  - 256

OSPFadjacency (v3)  - 256

For mobile backhaul topology the OSPF neighbor scale may be different.

regards,

David

hi Hadi,

The maximum number of supported OSPF sessions is 256 total.

For mobile backhail OSPF session scalability is greatly increased. It's better if you work with your local Cisco Systems Engineer or Account Team for the mobile backhaul scale as it will depend on the specific mobile backhaul design. The ASR9K is well suited to handle OSPF scale for large mobile backhaul designs.

regards,

David

Hi David,

Thank you for the promote response.

Just for confirmation,

1. The maximum neighbor is 256 each for OSPF v2 and v3. (just to make sure that 256 is not the limit, in total of OSPF v2 and v3)

2. Do you have any information about the OSPF neighbor limit for mobile backhaul topology?

Thank you again,

Hadi
