How will 4G affect your wireless network?

Three major network providers announced extended 4G availability this past week, hitting big-time population areas like New York and Chicago.  (4G launched in Cisco’s home state this time a yr ago)  This means more people can do things that strain the network, like download big files from a smartphone, watch a video on a tablet.

Now, combine that with the number of people accessing data this way and you have quite a lot to support: Pew Internet conducted a study in May that found 35% of American adults own a smartphone.

Do you have a plan to prepare your wireless network for this?
