Using headphones & mic in WebEx Meetings

We are using WebEx Meeting Center, Jabber 9.0.5 (with softphone), and WebEx One-Click (productivity tools).  I've created a WebEx meeting in the various methods and becasue my WebEx Audio Conference preferences are set to use my MeetingPlace server, the audio poriton of the WebEx meeting defaults to it. I want to know if I am using headphones and mic on my PC, do I have the ability to talk/listen without having to dial into MeetingPlace?  I know that I can always dial MeetingPlace directly using my softphone in Jabber, but if I didn't have softphone set, could I still utilize audio via a headset and mic (without dialing in)?

If I understand this right I don't see how, you are probably better off just using VOIP streaming built into WebEx then

Thanks

I want to be able to use MeetingPlace AND VoIP on the same WebEx. You'd think that it's something that can be achieved.

Chris

So when I refer to VOIP I am referring to audio coming from WebEx completely outside of Jabber. In that case MP 8.5 does allow you to mix MP audio and VOIP in the same meeting or MP and third party SP audio

Thanks
