Jabber UI Demo - Internet Explorer

Hi,

Jabber UI Demo is not working in Internet explorer. It displays 'Operation timeout'.What is the reason behind this. It works in Firefox.

Even when i try custom jabber code, it is not working in Internet explorer.

Could any of you explain the cause for this.

Are you referring to the sample app? What version are you running (of the app and the SDK), and what version of IE?

Version:

/*build/dist/VTG-CAXL-debug-8.6.1.28927/src/third_party/jquery/jquery-1.4.2.js*/

IE Version: Checked from IE9, IE10

Could you please share the sdk which will work in IE9 or greater.?

Hi Dany,

Please check out this compatibility page, where it shows the general browser support and the CORS support of CAXL.

Most likely, you are running into the CORS permission where you need to make sure one origin (host + port) to make requests to other origins are support in IE9/IE10
