We have recently seen a performance issue with Dell Compellent SC8000 6.4.5 with UCS 2.2 (C) and vSphere 5.1. I noticed today that Dell only states supported with ESXi 5.5 with UCS. See attached and below. Is that accurate? What is really supported with Compellent and UCS?

I realize this post is about a month old, but just curious about the performance issue you mentioned. We also have Compellent SC8000, Cisco UCS, and VMWare (we just recently upgraded to 5.5). When we upgraded Compellent to 6.4.5 we noticed some latency issues. Some of it was due to the SNMP agent, which we turned off, but we are still seeing spikes every hour at the same time for about a 10 minute window. Interested to know if that is what you are experiencing as well. Thanks.

Turned out to be a bug with VMware tools that caused this issue. Ask Cisco TAC to look into Cisco Service Request
