Cisco Call Manager ISO for Learning

I was wondering if there is any way to purchase a Cisco Call Manager / CUCM DVD ISO legally so I can run it in a Virtual Machine (without buying switches and IP phones on eBay) - for the soul purpose of playing around with it to learn how use Call Manager at home? There are numerous videos on YouTube showing how to set it up in VMWare and I am trying to do things to aquire new skills and enhance my knowledge. I was able to find a Cisco UCS Emulator there really appears no easy solution for any sort of Cisco Call Manager emulator to get my feet wet with that technology, at least, through official channels. I called Cisco up to ask them how to go about this but they basically told me there is no way unless I purchase 'specialized hardware.' I don't really want any hardware, just the ISO file to install in VMWare.

It is possible to purchase the complete Cisco UC “Not for Resale” bundle for $275.
However your company must be a Cisco partner to have access to this deal.

So in other words, there is no official way for a home user to "officially" purchase a CUCM ISO?

If I purchased a bundle of VMWare compliant images off eBay, would I have any potential issues? There is a bundle out there but I just don't want to buy it, install it then find out it doesn't work, since I read that Cisco used to include a demo license but may not any more. All I really need is a license for 1 softphone to play with.

I need the same. I have ESXi 5.5 waiting to install CUCM... but I can't find a demo or a trial.

That actually just went full circle. I found a posting ( https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/videos/1624#comment-35149 ) which basically stated to find the ISO image on "out on the Internet". Not sure if that's what you guys really want! Ideally, there would be an option to buy a single phone home use license for a reasonable price under $100. eBay does have them, but I'm not sure if eBay is your desired way, either.
