1.Is it wether need CTI connection eastablished by TAPI between CUCM and recording server ?
Ans) Its only for Monitoring - Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) provides the ability for applications to monitor calls on a per-call basis. Cisco defines the monitor target as the party that is monitored and the monitor initiator as the monitoring party.
The Cisco Zephyr recorder provides a basic and powerful recording capability and does not rely on CTI to obtain the far-end information.
2. Which message need be sended to CUCM by recording server after CUCM sended Invite message to recording server?
Ans) Cisco Unified Communications Manager sends both the agent (near-end) and customer (far-end) call information to the recorder via SIP messages. Messages travel through the SIP trunk. (Prior to this enhancement, only the near-end information was sent via SIP messages; retrieval of the far-end information required a CTI connection to Cisco Unified Communications Manager.
3. How do recording server get the end status when the current session finished?will CUCM send message to recording server to notify the session finished?
4. Is it only RTP stream between the agent phone and recording server?not include signaling message?
Eventhough its related to cucm6.x the data in the document is relevant to recording.
