Hi,
I have a requirement using Jabber, where it is needed to store offline instant messages and show them whenever the user is available. I know that CUP has a setting to enable offline instant messaging, but I read somewhere that keeping it disabled will increase performance. Also that it has a limit of 100 messages/user and 30000/node.
I'm curious to know if there's any other way to implement this functionality. I also read that PostgreSQL is the only external database supported. Can we use it to store offline messages even when the Offline Instant Messaging is turned off?
Thanks in advance.
