UCS and ESXi Virtual NICs

I have a UCS system that I am using for some ESXi hosts.  These hosts are using iSCSI storage.  With my old stand alone hosts my physical NICs were handling traffic onto the physical cable up to the physical switch.  When that was the case, I used NIC teaming, failover and load balancing inside the ESxi switch to control how traffic that left those physical NICs was handled.  Now these physical NICs that ESXi sees are really software objects that UCS presents to ESXi. These NIC software objects are managed by UCS underneath the hood and map to various ports on the fabric interconnect in a configuration that is invisible to ESXi.

How does this scenario impact my ESXi virtual switch policies for teaming, failover and load balancing?
