Hi,

I chased this down and unfortunately it seems that there are no plans to publish a Jabber Sample Gadget.

Thanx,

Denise

The Finesse Jabber sample gadget will be release soon.

Is this reference gadget for the Jabber SDK or the installed apps?

Is soon a week, a month, three months?

Its a gadget. It will be with the other Sample Gadgets

Hi,

It's out on the Finesse Developers.

Rui

Any update on when the Finesse sample gadget for Jabber will be released?

Is it only for WebEx connect, or can it be used on a onpremise CUP installation ?

The login screen says "Webex connections credentials"

Yes, only for WebEx credentials.

Hi,

Got it working with IMP. On the Jabber-IM.JS file edit the URL to the IMP BOSH:

httpBindingURL: "http://cups01.demo.local:7335/httpbinding", //the BOSH url for your server

to use HTTP on the URL you need to go to IMP System -> Security -> Settings and clear the following box:

Enable Web Client to IM/P Service Secure Mode

The httpbinding string is defined on the XCP WEB service paramters.

Still a little bit raw, but much better than nothing.

Rui

Im getting this error:

BOSH URL has different protocol than webserver: http: != https

and then i get a network timeout (Can see that in the console log of my IE)

when going against my IMP server.

Anyone have a solution for this?

Im running against a IMP 11

And now the gadget is removed again. Why (bugs, overload etc....) ??

You might try using // for the protocol, instead of HTTP or HTTPS. For example, //myserver.com
