UCSD HA?

Hi,

I was just wondering if there is any documentation on how to make UCS Director highly available? I am thinking VMWare HA is the only option I can think of, but there is no official information on how to set up, or supported configurations.

Backing up the databases is the only documented option I see available.

When evaluating my options, I came down to the same conclusions.  We did find out, through some testing, that you can backup the appliance with most VM-level backup utilities in the VMware space, but we are looking to HA as our only option.  If I lose one physical site, I can try to recover from the VM-level backups with something like VMware SRM.

The architecture of the application just seems to be, well, not very open and rigid.
