Determining end time of a Support Center meeting?

We are evaluating the URL based API (https://developer.cisco.com/fileMedia/download/4588769e-3624-4778-9aa6-9456e8336a2f) for an internal application and have a query regarding the documented behavior and actual API behavior as noted in our testing.

We wish to programmatically start Support Center meetings and record the duration of these meetings from our application. I can see that the SS command (or SK & HS commands) will start the meeting and both the HS (Host Support Session) and SS (Start Support Session) command appear to support a parameter, BU, which according to the documentation will be invoked when the session ends:

Pages 217 & 223:

BU Optional. BackURL for the destination page that appears when the support session ends. If not specified, the command displays the home page of your WebEx-hosted website upon successful scheduling. See “Returning to a URL on Command Completion (BU and MU)” on page 2-259

In our testing the backUrl is invoked as soon as the session has begun & not when it ends. This seems to be at odds with the the documentation - which is correct?

If this is expected behavior is there another method we can use to determine when a session has ended?

Greetings! The only information provided by the BU is the support session number, there's no beginning nor ending times provided. In general, the URL API has limited functionality. In the URL API documentation, Chapter 1 contains a section titled "Available Services" which lists the types of services that are available. The WebEx XML API is better suited for the functionality you are seeking.
