We are moving our LDAP servers to use only SSL (port 636) and are having trouble connecting from the web server that has the multidirectory page. When we change the port number in the multidirectory.asp file to 636, the connection fails, but works perfectly when using 389. Using a separate utility on the same server to connect via 636 works fine, so it is not a blocked port issue. The necessary CA and Intermediate certificates are installed in the computer's Trusted Root and Intermediate certificate stores. Has anyone gotten this to work? Is there an application specific trust store that the CA and Intermediate need to be added to?
