We have a problem to use API method "participant.add" and define the specific codec for MCU conference.
Is there any way using API to add a participant to the scheduled conference on MCU with "custom codec selection"?
Anyone knows?
There aren't documentation or examples about this, I'm confised a little bit.
The backdoor way - preconfigure an endpoint and add it to the conference don't work, becouse the method "participant.add" can have the parameter "participantType" as an one of "by_address" or "ad_hoc", but we need "by_name"
