SUP32 PISA support with ISE 1.2 and 1.3

Hello,

I would like to ask about the support of the SUP32 PISA of the C6500 (already EOL) with ISE 1.2/1.3.

I found that the Sup32 PISA runs a software version 12.2(18) and the minimum compatibility with ISE 1.2/1.3 of the "ordinary" Sup32 for 6500 is software version 12.2(33), from this it would logically not be supported.

I would like to understand what does that mean, can you confirm which features of ISE won't be supported? So I can list the limitation to my customer.

We haven't tested that supervisor with ISE so we wouldn't be able to tell you the level of support.  ISE is a standards based RADIUS server so if the Sup32 PISA supports 802.1X, it should work.  What you would need to determine is if the Sup32 PISA supports RADIUS Change of Authorization and URL-Redirect.  These are important for some of the more advanced use cases with ISE.  I recommend testing it with ISE in a lab environment to determine what features work.
