IM&P Data Dictionary

Hello,

I'm looking for the IM&P Data Dictionary for version 10 or 11.

For example, I'm looking for the regular expression for the "description" field of Static Route. When I set an accentued character, I get the error "Description - all characters allowed except quotes ("),close angle bracket (>),open angle bracket (<),backslash (),ampersand (&),percent (%).". For me, an accentued character is not a quote, a close angle bracket, a open angle bracket, a backslash, a amersand or a percent so it should be accepted... There are many field like this in IM&P so the data dictionary can be very useful!

Thanks,

Fabien

Does anyone know if there is a way to find the real regular expression for the fields of IM&P or better the Data Dictionary?

Thanks,

Fabien

Hi Fabien,

I believe we covered this in a support ticket, so I'm going to mark this assumed answered.  For everyone else, there are simply characters that are not allowed in the description field.  Most of them are disallowed because they are used in HTML, but special characters (like accented character) are not allowed, either.  It's simply the way the system is designed.
