Hi, I'm trying to use the APIC-EM to make some generic configuration changes to my switches in the network, but I can't find any way to do this, except uploading a brand new full configuration via the PNP API. Is it correct that the APIC-EM controller cannot be used to change any network device configuration parameter ? thanks.

The objective of the controller is to abstract network complexity through policy. You express your "intent" and the controller will instaniate it only the network. For example, in EasyQoS, all you need to say is "app1 is Business Relevant", define a scope (through tags) where this policy should be applied, and the controller will do the rest.
There are lots of other non-controller options for pushing generic config snippets.

You are right, APIC-EM cannot modify IOS configuration except policy related and PnP.
