Hi Friends,
We are planning to Replace our Core Switch (C3750- 2 Nos, configured with HSRP) with Nexus N9K-C9372TX (2 Nos.).
Existing core switch (C3750) configurations are mentioned below.
01. Network Attached Storage (Net App) Configuration. NAS having two controller, First Controller is connected to First Core Switch & Second Controller is connected to Second Core Switch Respectively (and this is VLAN 12 & each both switch vlan having ip. No HSRP configuration)
02. VMWare EsXi 6.0 (2 Hosts). each host is connected to both switch (this is on Vlan 6) and HSRP is configured for VLAN 6 b/w two core switches.
03. Trunk Link (EtherChannel) b/w Two Core Switches for HA.
04. Trunk Link for EDGE Switches. Edge switch is connected with both Core switches and make 1st Core Switch as Root Bridge and 2nd as BDR.
So to increase network performance now we are planning to replace existing core switch with Nexus N9K-C9372TX, unfortunately we are not familiar with these Data Center switch.
Kindly guide us to complete our core switch change over with Nexus.
Any reference or guidance is very much appreciated.

SAMED

These are some basic config guides for 2 different NX-OS versions available on the same link I shared above.
If you are having issues I would recommend work with TAC to fix the problem.

Hi Trilok,
Thanks for the information.
Unfortunately we are very beginner with Nexus family switch ( NX-OS configuration commands). Could you please share NX-OS commands study material.
Today we Power ON the switch and access the console, after the boot process switch went in to "(none) login:" mode & asking username and password (we don't know default password), so we tried several password out of this username 'admin' accepted without password & switch went in to " (none)# " mode . only little show commands are available with this mode (this is mentioned below.)
(none) login:
