Hello, I wonder if it is possible to define the same EP in different EPGs defined in the same or different Application Profiles.
Thank you in advance.

Hi
I have successfully added an endpoint (in my case a Catalyst 3850 switch) as a static binding to 2 different EPGs. One EPG is for management using vlan-100 for the encapsulation, and the other is for PXE boot traffic using a different VLAN ID for the encapsulation. The 3850's interface is set as a dot1q trunk - no special config needed.
I also have VM's connected to a VMM DVS (controlled by the APIC) using multiple EPGs.
Does this help?

Actually Yes...
Without going into to much detail an EP is tied to the EPG in to ways:
1) static binding
2) VMM Domain
With that said the EP just needs to be multi homed physically or virtually... One connection in one EPG and the other in the second EPG.
the EPG's can reside in the same BD and on the same or different Subnet.
Man I didnt realize this was an old subject... lol... you have probably figured this out by now
