Dynamic vLAN Assignment?

I am looking for some assistance / guidance on how to assign the VLAN dynamically within UCS-D. I am picking up system configuration options from a 3rd party resource and kicking off a workflow which spins a catalog (actually this community post https://communities.cisco.com/docs/DOC-65844). However, I cannot seem to pass the VLAN information.

UCS-D seems to have been designed such that a vDC is required and eventually you get to a requirement for the network policy. Between these two items I believe is the issue I am struggling with. The Service Profile seems like an option but there is absolutely no documentation on how it works (or at least that I can find).

How can I dynamically assign a vlan I am picking up via a 3rd party application to a workflow ?
