ISE 2.1 supported on NFS based SAN

In the install guide we stipulate that the host must support shared VMFS volumes on a SAN.

Would this be supported if the ESX hosts presented this VMFS off of a NFS base IP SAN assuming that the IO requirements where met or is it mandatory to run VMFS on block based SAN storage?

Many thanks

Alistair

Alistair,

To my knowledge, our QA teams have not tested NFS for storage.  That said, I don't see a technical reason why it wouldn't work so long as the IO requirements were met.
