APIC-EM__GA_HW-MiniLab-1 Questions

Hi,

I have been trying to do a little APIC-EM sandboxing and ran in to the following issues/questions.

When logging into to the switches/routers using "admin" thru telnet or ssh there is no possibility to enter privileged mode, is this by design or a fault in the setup?

When logged in the > prompt appears, when trying "enable" etc. the % Error in authentication.shows up.

I was trying to do  a Patch Trace from APIC-EM web interface. Selecting the switch or router does not work, it just goes back to the list again. Also entering the IP does not work, error is: "Not able to locate unique interface or host for source ip address 10.10.20.66"

An issue I encountered when accidentally closing the Cloudshell lab management tab in the browser is that it is  not possible to  open this again. Normally the lab shows active, but after closing the tab only the reserve option is available.Reserved by me is visible but it is not possible to open this reservation again.

Am I doing something wrong, can someone help me?

With kind regards,

Arp

Thanks

Hi Eddie,

Is there anything to report on this issue? Should I just try again and see if the results are different or is there really something wrong?

Kind regards,

Arp

Hi ARP.

were baselining the setup. it will  be available in 60 mins for reservation.

thanks.

Hi,

I can  confirm after trying some things that the lab is working correctly now. Telnet privilege settings seem to be working ok now.

Also the apic-em selection of interfaces from discovered devices is working now.

So it seems that something was broken which has been fixed.

Thanks for the help.

Arp
