Hello folks,

For wan connection with sub-rate ethernet, where/how do I set the shaping function, e.g parent shaper of 50M, and child policy of APIC-EM generated one?

Per video Cisco APIC-EM EasyQoS Demo on Vimeo

it was mentioned a wan interface needs to be marked, but where/how?

I am running 1.2.1.

Thanks in advance,

Quentin

That comes from meta data in the description on the interface.

#WAN#20M#SPP4# would indicate the wan link is 50m and uses SP Profile #4 (8 class).

This also defines the SP Profile which is the mapping of the internal 12 class model into the SP model (in this case 8 class).

you can have 4/5/6/8 class maps.

1.3 will allow you to define your own SP maps.

Great, that seems to work.  Is this documented anywhere?

And is there a way to change the bandwidth percentage for each queue?  The generated policy looks to have fixed percentage for each queue.  How about buffer adjustment?  If that is not too much to ask;-)

Thanks again,

Quentin

A custom profile will allow you to change the allocation of BW percentages.
