Folks,
Not having any success getting APIC-EM to recognize a service provider link so we can apply an SP Profile in Easy QoS.
We're using #WAN#34M#SPP3# in the description line (for example) and have tried this on several types of layer 3 switches such as 3750x, 3850, 4500x, Nexus 5k, and 6500.
APIC is successfully inventorying all of these devices.
We can successfully push our own policies in scopes we've created so we know communication to devices is working.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,

Hi Austin,
SPP are only supported on routers at present.
Were you just testing the functionality of SPP or did you want to use the switches to connect to WAN?

Thanks Adam, we suspected that may be the case.
Yes we do use the above mentioned layer 3 switches to terminate WAN links in smaller branches.
Downsides are things like lack of full QoS capabilities as in routers and minimal or missing Netflow.
it's strictly a cost consideration.
I imagine we're not unusual in this respect.
