video-conferencing calls management

We have configured CIMC and accessed the UC applications on VMware ESXi server from the vsphere client.
Which application to configure that will enable us to manage the video-conferencing in the system for collaborating calls, point-to-multipoint and point-to-point.
Also how to achieve video-conferencing calls recording, storage and management?

If you need immediate technical assistance, suggest you open a case with TAC, you can also reach out to the Cisco Support Community.

There are a variety of management tools available depending on what layer of the stack you seek instrumentation on or operational access to.

CIMC (Cisco Integrated Management Controller) is for UCS C-Series hardware management (which for appliances infrequently needed outside of troubleshooting or UCS Firmware updates).

vSphere Client is for managing VMware vSphere ESXi virtualization software (which for appliances infrequently needed outside of rebuilding, upgrading, licensing, troubleshooting).

For the Collaboration applications, depends on which ones you have (their are ~30 across unified communications, conferencing, customer care, systems management ... or "message / meet / call / care").

Each app has its own own management GUI/CLI, but there are also two supplementary management options:

  1. Prime Collaboration (Provisioning, Assurance & Analytics)
  2. If you have on-premises video conferencing, TelePresence Management Suite (TMS), recently updated for Cisco Meeting Server ("CMS", recent Acano acquisition).

Hope that helps...
