License Count Utility Tool - Protocol Used?

All,

Does the UCM License Utility tool use AXL/SOAP for its queries?  A customer says he cannot get the utility to work.

Yes, the License Utility requires AXL access.  When you add a UCM cluster to the tool, that information allows the tool to use the AXL to derive the current devices, DLU's and user associations that allows the tool to provide the current user licenses types for the 9.x and later versions of PLM.
