Connecting Cisco Finesse CTI with Unified Desk

Hello,

I have to make a middleware which connects a cisco CTI with a unified desk, without using the cisco desktop app.

I have a lab with Finesse, but I've never used Cisco, and I don't know how to access to the methods to get, for example, the call info, to use it in my code.

Is there any way to make this connection or I have to use another software?

Hi Aurora,

You would need to use both the Finesse REST API and the Finesse notification service. The documentation for this can be found here: https://developer.cisco.com/site/finesse/docs/guides/rest-api-dev-guide/

For most of the REST APIs, it performs the action and the notification service will send a realtime response to that action. It should be used together.
