Hi Team,

We are working on a NAC requirement wherein the customer wants to have an additional authentication to the machines, for which a finger printer machine is being planned to be implemented which also ineeds to integrate with the Active Directory.

In terms of NAC capabilities do we have an use case of integration with Morpho which is a fingerprint scanner used by the customer used in their offices.

Let know in case any additional details required (we are awaiting the data flow from customer on the fingerprint functionality).

Thanks in advance for any help here.

Thanks & Regards,

Yogesh Madhekar

Please refer to the ISE Network Component Compatibility Guide, Release 2.3 > Supported External Identity Sources

for all External Identity Sources that ISE supports.

You would need to investigate the protocols supported by the fingerprint reader/database vendor and see how those could interface with ISE.

I don't know the details of how the fingerprint information is encoded as a credential but ISE can talk to the fingerprint database via:

  1. RADIUS proxy
  2. RADIUS RFC 2865-compliant tokens
  3. SAMLv2
