VPN Connection is Successful but Can't access APIC

Hi,

I have reserved ACI Simulator, but after two days, I still can't connect to the APIC through HTTPS or SSH.  I can't ping the IP also (10.10.20.70).

I am able to connect to the VPN successfully.  My VPN log is below:

19/2/18

    8:54:53 AM    Ready to connect.

    8:55:20 AM    Contacting devnetsandboxlabs.cisco.com/rave43.

    8:55:37 AM    User credentials entered.

    8:55:39 AM    Establishing VPN session...

8:55:42 AM    The AnyConnect Downloader is performing update checks...

8:55:42 AM    Checking for profile updates...

8:55:42 AM    Checking for product updates...

8:55:46 AM    Checking for customization updates...

8:55:47 AM    Performing any required updates...

8:55:47 AM    The AnyConnect Downloader updates have been completed.

    8:55:47 AM    Establishing VPN session...

8:55:47 AM    Establishing VPN - Initiating connection...

8:55:49 AM    Establishing VPN - Examining system...

8:55:49 AM    Establishing VPN - Activating VPN adapter...

8:55:49 AM    Establishing VPN - Configuring system...

    8:55:50 AM    Establishing VPN...

    8:55:50 AM    Connected to devnetsandboxlabs.cisco.com/rave43.

After connecting to VPN, I visit the Devnet Sandbox and try connecting to the device from there using HTTPS.  The connection times out.  I also tried to SSH and PING from my laptop, but they also fail.  When I do a traceroute to the IP 10.10.20.70, I get this output:

VERAVICH-M-710Y:Cisco_Software veravich$ traceroute 10.10.20.70

traceroute to 10.10.20.70 (10.10.20.70), 64 hops max, 52 byte packets

Can you help resolve this?

Hi,

I looked at the VM this morning. It seems that it did does not attain network connectivity for some reason.

The fastest way to get you up and running is to kill your current reservation and book another ACI simulator sandbox. You will be allocated a different network but the VM IP will be the same.

Let us know how that goes.

Support

Many thanks Joseph.

I created a new session and it works fine.
