A device registered to Spark can it also be registered to a H323 gateway ?

Hello,

I think to buy a spark device (SX or MX).

This device will be registered to Spark but it has to still be linked to an H323 visio gateway (in the cloud) because I need to cantact and be contacted by partners who don't have spark.

Is it possible to be dual registered (spark and H323) ?

Thanks for your help

What you need to do is attach the WebEx service to your spark device subscription. WebEx will allow you to handle SIP/H323/Skype interoperability in the cloud. If you don't have that bridging service, then spark service natively only supports SIP calling and hence the need for WebEx

Thanks a lot for your answer.

Does it means that, when you are connected to Spark, the embedded H323 capacity of MX/SX is disabled?

When I want to contact my partners, I just want to make a H323 point to point call (without using the cloud Spark or Webex, just by using the registered H323 gatekeeper).

In fact, It’s really about two usecase completly different.

Yes spark reg doesn’t allow any built in multi site, that’s only there if you do CCM registration. So a P2P call to H323 via spark cloud would entail a bridging service

CCM on the other hand or expressway C reg can handle what you are trying to do

Thanks
