Servidor redundante para Email Security Appliance (ESA)

Actualmente tenemos un cliente con una solución de ESA con un solo servidor C190, el cliente esta buscando un esquema de redundancia en los servidores pero no he encontrado información respecto a que sea soportado un esquema de servidores redundantes.


¿Se puede implementar un esquema de servidores redundantes?

Hello Eduardo -

You can have a secondary Email Security Appliance (ESA) either virtual or hardware deployed.  The hostname & IP address will be assigned then as a lower priority within the DNS MX record.  The secondardy appliance will need to be joined via clusterconfig to the exisiting ESA.  That way, it is pulling over the same production configuration already running.  In AsyncOS clustering for Email, only the configuration is shared - clustering is not sharing traffic or processing.
