Decoding default in Agent Request

I am sending URL to the social miner server as using an ECC. You can see the contents of the ECC below,

name=test@abc.com&title=275&variable_cv_5=test@abc.com&mediaAddress=%2B46727002855&variable_cv_1=%E3%83%86%E3%82%B9%E3%83%88&variable_user_user.ECPV1=E_CPV1_1%20%E3%83%AA%E3%82%AF%E3%82%A8%E3%82%B9%E3%83%88%E3%81%AE%E8%AA%AC%E6%98%8E

contents:  (%20%E3%83%AA%E3%82%AF%E3%82%A8%E3%82%B9%E3%83%88%E3%81%AE%E8%AA%AC%E6%98%8E)

In the logs from Social Miner, the contents of the ECC, value></extensionField><extensionField><name>user_user.ECPV1</name><value>E_CPV1_1 リクエストの説明</value></extensionField><

show up as: E_CPV1_1 リクエストの説明

This looks to be an obvious encode/decode formatting issue. Where in the Social Miner server setting is the default format set?

Hi David,

For all SocialMiner APIs, we fully support UTF-8 encoding.

I'm afraid I could not quite understand your question.

Can you please provide me more details, such as:

  • which exact SocialMiner API you are trying to invoke
  • what is the exact payload you are sending (you can use formatting tools to put the payload in a code block so it is easy for me to read)
  • what do you expect v/s what you actually see

Thanks,
