JTAPINotificationPort=2789

Hello,

I've seen multiple references to JTAPINotificationPort=2789, which is being opened on the JTAPI client side, as well as its description: "This field specifies the Port through which the JTAPI parameter changes are communicated to JTAPI applications during runtime."

Does anyone know when this port is actually used and what setting can be changed on CUCM Administration web UI to test it?

This is local to the server where Cisco JTAPI is installed. If you use Cisco JTAPI preferences application to change the setting, it will use this port to communicate the change to "jtapi.jar". You can change the JTAPI trace level, manage TLS connection setting using this application and the changes should take effect without re-initializing JTAPI (re-starting application). HTH
