I have numerous solutions for clients built out with a 3825 Voice Gateway using 4 - 2MFT VWIC cards to terminate 8 PRIs.
I was recently using the Cisco DSP calculator and tried building this to verify I had the propor number of DSP modules.
I received an error stating that this configuration was unsupported because I couldn't put enough DSPs on the motherboard for the number of voice calls I would process. This was even with the G.711 codec.
So can I not terminate 8 PRI's on VWICs with the 3825 or am I using the calculator wrong?
I know when I add the Network Modules they have their own onboard DSPs, which I believe don't have any effect on the onboard need for DSPs.
Thanks
