On Friday August 10, 2018 between 7:00 PM and 11:59 PM GMT in APAC, and on Friday August 17, 2018, between 7:00 PM and 11:59 PM GMT in the US and EMEA, Cisco will be expanding the coverage area of Webex Audio services.

This upgrade only affects customers that have purchased Webex Audio service or Webex bundles and have chosen from the offers in the Toll Named User family (TNU, TNU+, and TNU+ International) or Committed Spend. Customers that have purchased Flex bundles and have chosen TNU as the included service will also be affected. Cisco will add telephone numbers for new countries for use in the following components:

  • Cisco Webex Business Suite applications (independent of version):
  • Cisco Webex Meetings
  • Cisco Webex Training
  • Cisco Webex Events
  • Cisco Webex Support
  • Cisco Webex Meetings Web App
  • Cisco Webex Meetings (Android)
  • Cisco Webex Meetings (iOS)

The additional coverage will appear automatically as additional telephone numbers in the “Global Call-in Numbers for This Meeting” dialog (shown here in the desktop meeting client). Your existing numbers should not change.

The additional coverage is now included in the TNU and Committed Spend coverage. Pricing for the TNU family of offers has not changed. Additional pricing has been added for Committed Spend. This upgrade is automatic and will be applied to all eligible customers regardless of ordering or billing system assignment. This change will only affect CCA-E or CCA-SP customers if they have purchased additional coverage with the TNU family or Committed Spend offers. Audio coverage is independent of Webex Meetings versioning.

Mobile devices will receive access to the same call-in coverage as desktop and web clients as they inherit the characteristics of the meeting.
