Firepower 4110 - Correct FXOS version for FTD 7.0.4

We've run into a bug where packets are being silently dropped between the chassis and FTD, so we need to upgrade our 4110's to hopefully eliminate the problem. I've been reading through the documentation, but I'm still not clear on the version of FXOS. At https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/secure-firewall/upgrade/management-center/710/upgrade-fmc-710/upgrade-fxos.html, it appears we need to use FXOS 2.10.1 for FTD 7.0.4. Is it acceptable to use 2.11 or 2.12 with 7.0.4? Thank you.

Not sure about the current FXOS version that you are running but you can run 2.11 or 2.12 though compatibility guide shows for 4110, FXOS 2.10(1.159)+ works with 4110 and 7.0.0 is the corresponding recommended FTD release.

I'm currently using 2.11(1.182) with my customers' 4100 and 9300 series as it has the latest security fixes as of this posting. It's completely compatible with 7.0.4. Generally speaking, later FXOS versions are compatible with older logical devices/containers.
